Niche Marketing

Focused in all marketing efforts on a small but specific and well-defined segment of the people. Niches do not be present but are formed by classifying needs, wants, and requirements that are being addressed below par or not at all by other firms, and developing and delivering goods or services to satisfy them. The strategy, niche marketing is designed at being a big fish in a small pond instead of being a small fish in a big pond. 

To start a niche marketing you have to knowledge about:
·         Know your target market inside and outside
·         Solve your customers’ problems
·         Rethink how you spread the word about your business
·         Invest in PPC advertising
·         Keep Tabs on your competitors
·         Open to new opportunities
·         Listen to your customers


Importance to have a niche
·         Don’t spread yourself too thin
·         Easier to identify and target potential clients and partners to work with
·         Easier to become an expert and well known in your niche
·         More and better referrals
·         More unique = Less competition
·         Marketing become easier
·         Easier to identify specific clients
·         More repeat business
